CPD Credits
The 2016 PICANet Annual Meeting will be held in Birmingham on Wednesday 2nd November.

RCPCH CPD approval has been applied for, in accordance with the current RCPCH CPD Guidelines. Full details will be available on this page nearer to the date.
To claim the CPD Credits the participant must attend the annual meeting, receive a certificate of attendance, assess the relevance and organisation through completion of an evaluation form to PICANet and complete a personal reflection for their CPD records.
Target audience
Paediatric intensive care nurses, paediatric intensive care specialist trainees, registrars and consultants, other allied health service professionals and commissioners.
Key aims and learning objectives
To learn and understand how PICANet operates in the UK and Ireland and how participants can participate more effectively.
To learn how data from PICANet can inform local practice.
To present new clinical audit and research findings related to paediatric intensive care.
To provide a forum for discussing current issues in paediatric intensive care across a multidisciplinary group of practitioners.
To learn how participation in PICANet influences national policy decisions about the commissioning of paediatric intensive care services.
