Update on PCC-MDS
All units have now been sent the web link to the PICANet software update, which enables collection of the paediatric critical care minimum dataset (PCCMDS). Units have also recently received an updated version, which provides the facility to export this in a suitable format for the Trusts to use in any Payment by Results (PbR) submission. It is anticipated that all units will return the enhanced dataset to PICANet, as it contains more detailed information on daily activity.
The updated purple PICANet Data Collection Form has been circulated to all units, many of whom are now using it routinely. |
