The PICANet Team
Dr Richard Feltbower
Dr Richard Feltbower will be taking over the role of PI at Leeds for PICANet. Richard is a research statistician and has a familiarity with the PICANet dataset. Richard will take over from Roger in June, transitioning into the role of PI from January 2018.
Vicky is the Operational Development Manager for PICANet. Vicky joined the team in 2017 and manages the day to day running of the project. Vicky had previously worked in trials at the University of Leeds.
Sophie is a PICANet Project Officer and deals with enquiries, data request applications, event organising, annual reports, username requests, and website maintenance.

Melpo is the PICANet Applied Health Research Statistician, Melpo completed her MSc in Biostatistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Lee is the PICANet Database Manager. Please contact Lee if you have database or technical related issues. Lee can assist in report generation, usernames, bug fixes and various web system issues.
Professor Elizabeth Draper
Liz Draper is the co-Principal Investigator of PICANet and is based at the University of Leicester. Liz is a professor of neonatal and paediatric epidemiology.
Caroline is a PICANet Research Nurse. Caroline provides clinical support to the PICANet team and manages the programme of validation and support to all the units and transport services submitting data to PICANet. Prior to joining the team Caroline was involved in maternal and child health research projects at University of Leicester and as a paediatric health visitor.
Lyn joined the Leicester team in January 2018 as a PICANet Research Nurse and is working part time, providing clinical input, validation and support to the units and transport organisations. Lyn also works as an ECMO Specialist Nurse and is currently completing her PhD.
Tracy is the PICANet Audit and Research Assistant. She works with Caroline and Lyn completing validation visits and providing support to the units. Prior to joining PICANet Tracy worked in clinical trials at the University of Bristol and as a PALS Officer in the NHS.
Martin is a software developer at the University of Leicester. Together with Lee and other colleagues, he is responsible for the design and programming of the project’s data collection and reporting system, PICANet Web.
